Practice Focus

Katina Hardee is a Shareholder in our Fort Lauderdale office Insurance Practice Group where she focuses her practice in many aspects of insurance-related matters including insurance defense litigation, premises liability, bad faith litigation, and coverage litigation.

Katina has successfully managed, resolved and defended hundreds of claims against trucking companies and truck drivers from property damage, minor injuries to catastrophic losses and multiple fatalities. She previously served as regional counsel for a fortune 500 package and shipping company where she managed claims in Florida, Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama. As such, she has vast knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and experience with hours of service issues. Further, she has previously served as a dedicated member of the 24-hour accident investigation team for emergency response to accidents in which her clients' tractors-trailers were involved. 

Katina earned her Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. While there, she served as a Law Review Casenote & Comment Editor and a member of the Moot Board, as well as a Child Advocate Fellow. Katina was a recipient of the Mississippi College of Law Academic Scholarship and Mississippi Women Lawyers Scholarship, and the recipient of the Hines Award for Civic Leadership.
