Charlotte Zubizarreta is an Associate in the firm's Maritime Practice Group in our Miami office, where she focuses her practice in many aspects of maritime and insurance-related matters. Charlotte provides full cycle representation to her clients, from helping them to achieve their initial goals to ensuring their continued success should disputes arise.
Charlotte has argued hearings in Federal, State, and Administrative courts, and has worked on cases involving all aspects of maritime and admiralty law, including protection and marine insurer claims, subrogation, and yacht and vessel transaction. She has also overseen and managed over 100 defense litigation cases in areas of general liability and workers compensation. Charlotte also has extensive experience in cases involving the National Flood Insurance Program. She has handled all stages of litigation and represented major national insurers participating in the National Flood Insurance Program in the defense of claims regionally and nationally.
Charlotte is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Charlotte earned her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. While there, she worked as an editor for the Fordham International Law Journal and was a member of the Dispute Resolution Society. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University, where she graduated with honors.
