Bruno Renda is a shareholder in the Insurance Practice Group in the Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices. Bruno is a civil trial lawyer dedicated to defending businesses and individuals in matters involving serious personal injury arising from alleged conventional and professional negligence, product liability and toxic torts. Bruno dedicates a significant portion of his practice to defending commercial motor carriers and commercial drivers in high damages, high exposure motor vehicle accidents with complex legal, scientific and medical issues. Bruno is well versed in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (or FMCSA), as well other federal, state and local regulations governing interstate and intrastate motor carriers and commercial drivers.
Bruno earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University and his Juris Doctor degree from Nova University, Shepard Broad College of Law, where he received the Excellence for the Future Award in Torts. While at Nova, Bruno was an active member of the Moot Court Society where he competed in the American Bar Association Appellate Advocacy Competition. He also served as board member in the American Trial Lawyers Association and was elected class representative to the Student Bar Association (SBA).
In 2015, Bruno was voted by his peers as an Up and Comer in Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite edition.
