Practice Focus

As a civil litigator, Andrew G. Tuttle devotes his practice to the defense of general and casualty liability matters, including, but not limited to, the defense of products, premises and catastrophic personal injury claims.  He represents leading manufacturers, distributors and retailers in actions brought by individual plaintiffs and complex aggregate liability matters.  As an associate at the firm, Andrew’s representation also includes trucking and mass transportation defense, medical malpractice and commercial litigation support to the passenger vessel and cruise industry, and complex commercial litigation matters including partnership disputes, breaches of fiduciary trust and other breach of contract claims.

Andrew not only received his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law, but also earned a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy.  In addition, as a member of Stetson University College of Law’s prestigious Trial Team, Andrew competed in trial competitions nationwide and was crowned National Champion for winning the American Bar Association’s National Arbitration Competition, and also finished as a Quarterfinalist at the National Ethics Trial Competition.  Andrew, along with his Stetson trial teammates, were named by U.S. News and World Report as the #1 ranked Trial Advocacy program in the Nation.  At Stetson, Andrew was also the recipient of several advocacy and pro bono awards, and received the Highest Grade Distinction in Trial Advocacy, Pre-Trial Practice and Ocean and Coastal Law and Policy. 

Andrew’s experience also included a summer clerkship for the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C., service as a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office – 6th Judicial Circuit, and a semester clerkship for The Honorable Thane B. Covert (Fla. 6th Jud. Cir.).  Prior to attending Stetson, Andrew graduated from the University of Central Florida, double-majoring in Political Science: Pre-Law and Psychology, Cum Laude.
