The Intellectual Property Group also has extensive experience in the licensing of trademarks and servicemarks.
Fowler White has substantial experience in litigating intellectual property cases. We prosecute patent, copyright and trademark infringement cases. The Intellectual Property Group defends our clients' rights to their trademarks, servicemarks, trade secrets and domain names. Fowler White also defends against claims that our clients have allegedly misappropriated others’ rights.
The Intellectual Property Group specializes in litigation involving all aspects of intellectual property disputes, including: patent infringement; Lanham Act cases; copyright infringement; infringements of trademarks, service marks and trade dress; counterfeiting; diversion or "grey market" cases; trade secret misappropriation; and unfair competition. The group has brought or defended numerous claims seeking temporary and permanent injunctive relief, as well as compensatory, statutory and punitive damages and has experience in trying such claims before judges, juries and arbitrators. The Intellectual Property Group is experienced in Opposition and Cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
