The Insurance Group has defended third-party and first-party extra contractual liability (bad faith) actions. Lawyers in this active practice group regularly lecture on both the defense and avoidance of such claims. The Insurance Group has prosecuted and defended declaratory judgment actions on a broad spectrum of issues on behalf of both insurers and insureds. One of the recent developments in this area of law is the advent of third-party administrators.

Fowler White's practice extends throughout all of Florida. The Insurance Group attorneys are admitted to practice before all the U.S. District Courts in Florida and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
