Passionate about the advancement of women in the legal profession, Thompson has been active with the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (“FAWL”), serving as the South Palm Beach County Chapter's President in 2012-2013 and is currently serving as State FAWL's Development Director. In addition, she has been awarded the highest “AV Preeminent” rating by Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory and was previously nominated for Leaders in Law by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. A frequent author, for the last two years, Thompson also served as the Business Editor for Attorney at Law Magazine.
Thompson holds a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science, with honors, in Political Science from The American University. She is a member of The Florida Bar and The District of Columbia Bar.
