Fowler White Burnett Shareholder Erin Gaskin Is Appointed To The City Of Miami Beach Human Rights Committee

Shareholder Erin Gaskin has been appointed by Mayor Phillip Levine to serve on the City of Miami Beach Human Rights Committee.

Ms. Gaskin has been a civil litigator for 17 years and is a shareholder in the firm's Healthcare Practice Group.  With both a law degree and master's degree in public health, Ms. Gaskin has extensive experience handling cases on behalf of medical schools, medical faculty, hospitals and healthcare delivery systems.

The City of Miami Beach Commission passed and adopted a revision to the Human Rights Ordinance designed to strengthen and improve the City’s original Human Rights Ordinance, which was passed in 1992. A major component to the revised Ordinance was the establishment of the City of Miami Beach Human Rights Committee whose duties include amongst others, informing persons of the rights and remedies provided by the Human Rights Ordinance.
