MIAMI, FLA - Fowler White Burnett is pleased to announce that Shareholder, Stephen R. Gross, has been elected to the Broward County Bar Association’s Board of Directors for a two-year term commencing July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018. He has previously served on the Broward County Bar Association’s Publicity Committee and as Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee.
The Broward County Bar Association was founded in 1925 to foster courtesy, ethics, and professionalism among lawyers and to educate local citizens of Broward County on their legal rights. With more than 3,100 members, the Broward County Bar Association is one of the largest Voluntary Bar Associations in the state of Florida.
A member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group, Gross is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Construction Law and focuses his practice on complex litigation, coverage and defense matters, including construction and commercial litigation. Gross has served as Chair of the City of Sunrise Affordable Housing Advisory Board since 2009 and has been recognized as an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rated attorney by Martingale-Hubbell.
Gross received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.
