Fowler White Burnett Elects Five Attorneys to Shareholders
Fowler White Burnett today announced that the following attorneys have been elected shareholders with the firm: Melody E. Cobbe, Jeremy M. Colvin, Kate Ferro, Michael J. Drahos and George M. Koonce III.
Cobbe works in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and has been an associate with the firm since 2005. She focuses her practice on a range of commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on business and real estate disputes. She is also experienced in handling a wide variety of construction litigation cases.
Colvin, who works in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, is a commercial litigator who represents large and small financial institutions. His specific practice is focused in the area of securities litigation, arbitration and regulation. Colvin has been with the firm as an associate since 2006.
Ferro works in the firm’s Miami office and has been an associate with Fowler White Burnett since 2007. She focuses her practice on a broad range of litigation matters, with specific emphasis on insurance coverage and disputes related to construction.
Drahos, who works in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, is a civil litigator who focuses his practice on the defense of products liability and related litigation, such as catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He has been an associate with the firm since 2002.
Koonce works in the firm’s Miami office and has been an associate with the firm since 2005. He concentrates his practice on medical malpractice, products liability, toxic torts and insurance defense cases. He has extensive experience defending health care facilities and medical practitioners against catastrophic claims involving a variety of allegations, from personal injury and wrongful death to negligence.
