Caitlin M. Trowbridge, an Associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation group, has been elected to the Dade County Bar Association Board of Directors, Group 1. Elizabeth J. Ferry, an Associate in the firm's Products Liability & Toxic Torts group, has been elected to the Board of Directors, Group 2. Both Ms. Trowbridge and Ms. Ferry will serve on the Board of Directors for the 2013 - 2014 term.

Fowler White Burnett attorneys Elizabeth Pryor Johnson and Donald W. Hardeman, Jr. obtained directed verdict for their client in a whistle blower case pending in the 11^th Judicial Circuit for Miami-Dade County.

On Feb. 6, 2013, Esther E. Galicia received a favorable opinion from the Third District Court of Appeals in a very contentious guardianship appeal. Esther successfully defended the probate court’s order reforming, based on a mutual mistake, the parties’ settlement agreement to reflect that the Appellants, beneficiaries of the ward’s trust, opted-out of any litigation against a former trustee.
