Cort Neimark has spent more than 25 years advising clients on corporate, real estate and estate planning matters. With his background in business administration, Cort is able to successfully negotiate, structure and execute transactions that achieve clients’ business and personal objectives.
His corporate work includes assisting clients with business entity formation and corporate governance. Cort has significant experience with the preparation of complex transaction documentation, operating and partnership contracts, as well as with non-compete disclosures and confidentiality agreements. He also represents buyers and sellers in mergers, stock and asset purchases and other considerably large and sophisticated transactions.
In the real estate arena, Cort’s practice includes representing parties in leasing and property acquisitions and dispositions. He represents both lenders and borrowers in commercial and residential mortgage financing transactions. Clients benefit from Cort’s extensive knowledge of title insurance and experience with title examination. He also assists clients with construction contract negotiation and lien law compliance.
In addition, Cort is experienced with estate planning and probate. He prepares and executes estate plans for individuals and families. He counsels clients on asset protection and business succession planning. By employing advanced techniques, he is able to minimize estate, gift and generation-skipping taxes for clients. Cort also handles probate administration.
