James Murray focuses his practice on complex product liability matters. He handles the defense of products from a variety of industries, such as agriculture, construction, medical, and sports and recreation. Jim has significant experience with cases involving medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Jim represents manufacturers, retailers, insurers, distributors and suppliers against allegations of personal injury, wrongful death, negligence, property damage and failure to warn, among numerous others. A skilled trial attorney, with a broad understanding of scientific, medical and technical issues, Jim has effectively resolved cases involving catastrophic injuries and million dollar demands. He has served as local counsel in multi-district litigation, national counsel overseeing multi-state strategy and lead counsel in class action litigation.
In addition, Jim also handles aviation litigation. He defends domestic and international airline carriers, aircraft and component manufacturers and aviation maintenance providers in claims that result from mass disasters and aircraft accidents. He brings valuable insight to the defense of aviation claims related to product liability.
