Beth Johnson’s practice involves all aspects of labor and employment law. With more than 20 years of experience, Beth has represented employers, from the private, public and non-profit sectors, on the full range of employment-related matters and disputes. Her practice includes counseling clients with regards to such issues as human resources policies and procedures, workforce reduction, workplace privacy and safety issues, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and litigation avoidance strategies.

When a litigation matter arises, employers benefit from Beth’s strategic approach. She works closely with management to resolve disputes in the early stages of a lawsuit rendering the client with limited liability and exposure. She handles all types of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, FMLA violations, breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets. Beth regularly litigates cases in state and federal courts, as well as before a number of administrative agencies.

In addition, Beth conducts training seminars for management and human resource professionals on critical topics, including sexual harassment and leave policies. Beth also has significant experience with the drafting and enforcement of non-competition, confidentiality and employment agreements.
