Charles P. Gourlis is an Associate in the firm’s Maritime Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on all aspects of Admiralty Law.
Charlie has extensive experience litigating, arbitrating, and meditating maritime disputes, including those governed by the substantive laws of the United States, Panama, Norway, and the Bahamas.
He also has significant experience in complex commercial and construction litigation, representing parties in complex multi-million dollar litigation, including claims for breach of contract, construction and design defects, insurance, surety bond, property rights disputes, and related matters. Charlie also has transactional experience.
Charlie received his Juris Doctor degree from the American University Washington College of Law and Masters of Business Administration degree from the American University Kogod School of Business. He additionally obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, with a double major in Economics and Political Science, from the College of the Holy Cross.
