Angela R. Neave works exclusively in the area of Marital and Family Law. She zealously represents clients in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties in divorce, paternity, post divorce matters such as modification, enforcement and contempt, relative and step-parent adoptions, child support, custody and time-sharing, relocation, equitable distribution, alimony and support, domestic violence, parental responsibility and support unconnected to dissolution of marriage, and as a guardian ad-litem. Because a divorce involves every aspect of a person’s life, and because the family will exist in a new form after the divorce, Ms. Neave encourages her clients to treat their spouse with respect and to put the children’s needs first throughout the dissolution process. Ms. Neave frequently engages the services of other professionals such as forensic accountants, pension experts, business valuators, guardians ad-litem, parent coordinators, therapists, property appraisers and other professionals to meet the needs of each individual case.
As a guardian ad-litem, Ms. Neave makes independent recommendations after a thorough investigation, focusing on the needs of each child, including helping to determine timesharing issues. Ms. Neave also volunteers her time as a pro bono guardian ad-litem who protects the rights of, and advocates for the best interests of children involved in dependency proceedings.
